I want to share one of my favorite live video chat software packages that everyone in my family is using. Sure there are lots of different live video chat sites on the internet but the one I particularly enjoy is Paltalk. At the moment, this service is perhaps the most popular live chat messengers and is great because it offers free registration which is definitely a plus.
When your entire family agrees to use Paltalk the next step is downloading the software. Many of my family members have it installed on our laptops, but there are some of the younger family members that do not have access to Paltalk.
Paltalk basic is free. My family has since upgraded from the basic version to the subscription service due to more benefits being offered even though the free basic service is very good.
As soon as you have been logged into the network, you literally have access to hundreds of chat rooms which many of them you do not want your children visiting. I don’t think the thought of visiting off limit chat rooms would even occur to my kids but I honestly feel much more comfortable knowing that when they use Paltalk they are under the supervision of adults.
Creating your own specific chatroom is a very uncomplicated process and only require a few simple steps. Your family can be communicating with your Uncle in Louisiana and your cousins in Houston in no time. I just designed the family chat room myself and all the other family members have to do is wait for an invitation from me to enroll in the family chat room. Below are a few steps on creating your very own private family chat room.
The very first step to take is to download Paltalk. Once you have finished downloading it you will need to complete the registrations then activate your account. Make the decision if you are going to stay with the basic version or upgrade to the monthly subscription. There is no need to opt to pay a monthly subscription until you try out the software. You might be completely satisfied with the basic version, so why pay?
The next thing you have to do is to log off Paltalk. Go to the Home Page and choose My Paltalk from the top menu. Afterwards go ahead and sign in and choose the selection Create My Group from the menu.
To produce your individual chat room you will fill in information such as chat room name, description, category, sub-category, etc. Please remember to select the voice and video options. After that choose Save My Changes. You will notice the green indicator if you have finished the form in the approved manner which I know that you did! Choose Picture from the menu if you wish to upload a photo for your chat room theme and follow the upload prompts. Sign out of Paltalk and close the browser. Launch Paltalk again from the beginning and sign in. Pick Actions from the menu afterward scroll downward while aiming for Join Chat Room as Admin. Choose your nickname from list and enter the Admin code that you setup earlier for your room.
After finishing all of those directions now it is time to initiate distributing out invites out to your friends as well as kinfolks to join you online from their Paltalk, Yahoo, ICQ, and AOL services.
