Low in cost is one of the definitions of cheap. In the grocery store, the packaged items as store brands were made by the company that brings you the name brand stuff. Just because it has a lower price tag doesn’t mean cheap smart phones can’t provide the same quality the more costly ones do.

The product is just as good but it’s targeted to a group of people who believe they can save money and still get what they need. Good quality items don’t have to be expensive and neither does the right mobile device. Just because something is cheap doesn’t mean it’s substandard.

You can find phones that won’t cost you your life’s savings by doing a little research. Try cutting out extra features that you don’t believe you’ll use. Did you know that the Android OS has been used by developers from all across the cellular world? By now you will have heard from multiple sources that the “Google phones” are competing neck and neck for other smart phones for popularity. It is definitely true that the Google phones are getting to be more popular every day. This is likely because the Google phones have been modeled after already very popular smart phones. Google has been paying attention to what the population wants and is trying very hard to give it what it wants. Did you know that Android OS users are not as likely to pay for applications as iPhone users are? A study done recently has shown that about half of the people who use iPhones will pay for the applications they can’t access for free. This study also shows that only one in five people who use the Android phones will buy applications. This is likely to change when the paid app section of Android’s app market expands but for the time being, Android users are more financially responsible than people who use iPhones. That might not seem like something to boast over but for some people it is very important!

Phones that use the Android OS are beginning to outsell iPhones. There are six states in which Android phones are widely outselling iPhones. The only problem with this study is that the states that sell more Android phones are not as developed and probably don’t actually have AT&T coverage. IPhones are currently exclusive to AT&T so that probably influences these studies by quite a bit. When (if?) AT&T ever loses its iPhone contract exclusivity the numbers will probably change and the study will most likely be redone.

Recent studies show that smart phones, especially those that use the Android OS, are used more by men than by women. While the study does not say why, it illustrates the fact that men are simply more likely to choose smart phones across the board than women are. The study does show that, in terms of the iPhone, that gap is actually much smaller. A tiny bit more than half of the iPhone users are male. When looking at the Android, on the other hand, about three quarters of the users are men. Why this is true is a mystery. Maybe it is because, where new technology is concerned, men are more likely to buy something as soon as it is released? The study does not reach any conclusions about why the numbers end up the way they do.

There are just as many, if not more, rumors as facts about the Google phone. The simple fact is that phones that use the Android OS (like the Google phones) are being sold all over the mobile market. Mobile phone developers like Motorola, HTC and Samsung are all using the Android OS. It has never been easier or more easily affordable to get a smart phone. Using cellular phones has increased dramatically over the years. Perhaps it’s because people have realized that having one has certain advantages because you can easily contact anyone for important matters regardless of your location.
